The Problem

A Google Merchant Center "misrepresentation" suspension had switched the Shopping ads off entirely.

Generic product titles, boilerplate policy pages, unverifiable stats and missing feed identifiers all added up to one verdict from Google: the account couldn't be trusted. Shopping ads went dark and the whole catalogue dropped out of the results buyers were actually searching.

Why it hurts

For an industrial supplier, Shopping is where high-intent buyers — someone searching "oil spill kit 50L" ready to order — actually find you. Every day suspended is lost revenue, and Google treats misrepresentation harshly: get the review wrong and you risk a permanent ban from Shopping. The fix had to be right the first time.
